Zone, The Zone, Zones!

Most of us at some time or another have been successful in living a healthy lifestyle, exercising regularly, losing weight and keeping it off, being very happy with our lives. We felt and performed better than ever, looked better than ever, and our actions showed it. This is what's called the "ZONE".

Typically we save this "zone" for world-class superstars, but you know what? We have also been in the "zone" several times and probably more often than we even realise. The zone is an elevated mental state that all peak performers achieve in business, sports, performing arts, professions and in their daily personal lives as well. Once you know your in it, you want it more and more.

In a sense, we're all archers, trying to hit our goals right in the bull's eye on the first try and with each and every arrow. But why can't we hit the bull's eye every time? Why can't we stay in it, in the “zone”?

As with all of us, we are prevented from achieving peak performance because of fear, anxieties, distractions, over or under-stimulation, toxins or lack of connection with our goals.

What the winners in all aspects of life have perfected is a relaxed focus. This doesn't mean a lack of intensity, it means that the mind is cleared of all distractions and the attention is focused like a laser on what is important to making the dreams or goals happen. They get into the “zone” more often than the rest! But even the best could achieve more there are no limits!
